Posted May 16th, 2014 @ 6:15am

This story has made national news!

Jessica Uribina, a 17-year-old teenager at Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep in San Francisco, was allegedly discriminated against for wearing a tuxedo in her senior portrait. According to her family, her picture will not be included in the yearbook or shown at graduation because she "violated the school's dress code."

A meeting has been set up between the school and student to further discuss the matter. Today-Friday May 16th- students at SCH plan to wear ties to in support of Jessica.

What are your thoughts? Was this a fair decision on behalf of the school, given their dress-code guidelines? Let us know here, or on Twitter using the hashtag #JessicasTux! Also, follow us on Twitter too: @itsmarcud and @SandyStec!
