Rachel Canning, an 18-year-old cheerleader from New Jersey, went to court yesterday trying to sue her parents for not paying her college tuition. She claims when she turned 18 her parents kicked her out and stopped supporting her "financially and emotionally." (She's trying to NOT pay the over $5k in legal fees and $12 in tuition fees.) Her parents claim she willingly moved out because she didn't like their rules and disapproval of her boyfriend.
Well, the judge has officially spoken....and he ruled the case out! Yesterday he ruled that Rachel Canning's parents do not have to pay her high school tuition and living costs. He also denied her request for weekly allowance and additional financial support including attorney fees.
The next hearing is scheduled for April 22. Check the video below!
