In a story straight out of a movie, a fan who threw a 96 MPH fastball at a "speed pitch callenge" contest at a Colorado Rockies game has just been signed to pitch for the Oakland A's. Turns out, this is the second time Nathan Patterson has done this. He also stepped up at a minor league baseball game and threw a similar amount of HEAT! Check out the pitch and pics below!
