Who's ready for Christmas music? I actually LOVE when artists record new songs, or reinvent classics. In this case, John Legend re-recorded "Baby It's Cold Outside" (featuring Kelly Clarkson) and gave some of the lyrics an upgrade. Now, me personally? I was never offended or upset about the old version. But, lots of people think it's too "predatory" so here's a few of the new lyrics:
“I really can’t stay (Baby it’s cold outside)"
"I’ve gotta go away (I can call you a ride)"
"This evening has been (So glad that you dropped in)"
"So very nice (Time spent with you is paradise)"
"My mother will start to worry (I’ll call a car and tell ’em to hurry).”
