I don't know about you but I'm ALWAYS looking for projects and science experiments to do with my daughter to pass the time in the afternoon. We've bonded over science, water, rainbow colors and big messes. And I LOVE it!! My daughter is obsessed with her lava lamp so she is gonna LOVE this! A mom in Alaska and her daughter have figured out how to execute a homemade lava lamp.
Check out the video below. She pours 1/2 of vegetable oil with 2 tablespoons water 8/10 drops of food coloring and 1 tablet of alka seltzer, and BOOM! So cool!
