You KNOW I had to read this article as I'm NOT the chef in my house! (Also I live alone.....awkward!)
But I thought it was really helpful, as there are many other ways to try and help Thanksgiving Day besides just cooking. For me personally, I always to try to at least set up the table beforehand, and help with dishes. Here's a few things you can do according to this:
1) Serve drinks
2) Do a grocery run
3) Clean the house
4) Decorate
5) Set the table
6) Entertain the kids/relatives
I have a VERY small family (literally my parents, and I; no brothers or sisters and my aunts/uncles all live out of town) so we don't run into these kinds of issues. But I can imagine with a bigger family it probably gets complicated. Let me know if there's something you'd add to the list!
