So I had the most AMAZING vacation last week. Have you ever pictured something, and it was exactly what you wanted it to be?? For the last year, all I've wanted is crystal clear waters, culture, and time to well, forget about "time." And I DID. I spent 6 nights in Playa Del Carmen (about 45 minutes south of Cancun, Mexico) and it was EVERYTHING I wanted it to be!!
I stayed at the Royal Hideaway in Playacar- it was the first time I've ever stayed at an all-inclusive resort. Holy crap, I am SPOILED FOR LIFE. I really, really liked not having to worry about paying for meals all week! My friend and I did leave a few times for shopping, I took a snorkeling tour, we even went a saw a local tarot reader!! Aside from the mosquitoes (I have like 16 bites) and the ridiculous humidity (it was 90 degrees and humid!) this trip served it's purpose. I laughed. I cried. I ate. I swam. And they I ate MORE.
