Meet The Official California State Dinosaur

It's official: Governor Brown just signed a bill making the Augustynolphus Morrisi the official state dinosaur.

The fossilized remains of the duck-billed hadrosaur, that ironically was a vegetarian, have only been found in California. The dinosaur roamed the area anywhere from 100- to 66-million years ago.

The dinosaur stood about 10-feet tall and was 30-feet long from its head to the tip of its tail.
