28-acre Waterfront Development in SF is Near Approval

This is a slightly older video but it shows what the city plans to do with the 28-acre waterfront development... After a decade of this being in the making it is now up for approval. According to the SF Examiner, "The 28-acre project will transform a surface parking lot just south of Mission Creek Channel across from AT&T Park, on a site referred to as Seawall Lot 377, into more than 1,000 housing units along with office and retail space."

We don't know what to say, more housing, more people, however living in this area would be great! Super convenient! But will this new housing project cause more congestion in the city? Thoughts?
