So I JUST moved into a new place on Sunday. Big apartment complex in San Mateo. The last 2 places I lived in San Mateo were condo homes, and I didn't realize how good I had it until I moved. (Meaning, it was really, really quite in my previous places.) So, after 7 hours of moving on Sunday....it was FINALLY done. I was exhausted, both emotionally and physically. I lay on my bed ready to PASS out.
And then it happened.
I heard the conversations above me CLEAR as day. Music. Thumping sounds of their TV. And every time a car drove by, I heard it. And I couldn't sleep. Now I am on a year lease and the walls are PAPER THIN!!!
What do I do? Some people say I'll get used to the noise.....I'm hoping I will. It's all just so new and I feel so "displaced." Advice?

All moved in. Massage at @burke_williams scheduled for the end of the week, even though my back is KILLING me right now!! Special thank you to Ben and his team from College Movers USA for doing the ACTUAL lifting....😂 I’m still wiped cause this was quite physical and let’s be honest: moving is emotional! Purging, going through years and years of crap...also realizing how bad you were at taking care of your house/belongings/“feng-shui.” This new place will be a representation of who I need to be to achieve the next level of happiness and contentment in my life. #Goodnight #MeDueleLaEspalda #moving #SanMateo #emotional
