Ariana Grande's Television Debut Of 'Imagine' Will Leave You Shook!

Ariana Grande came with a Christmas carol of her own on The Tonight Show.

Last night (December 18) saw the television premiere of the songbird's latest single "Imagine," which features on her upcoming fifth studio album Thank U, Next. While the singer has yet to unveil the official release date for her Sweetener follow-up — believed to drop anytime now — Grande has taken to the stage many a time to perform new material.

Dressed in her trademark oversized attire — a Christmas-inspired sweater this time — while rocking her classic ponytail, the 25-year-old effortlessly belted out the melodies of her tender new ballad as audience members watched in wonder. And just when we thought Grande's set couldn't enchant us more, the powerhouse surprised with a range of whistle notes worthy of a standing ovation.

Watch it below.

Grande's intimate new single arrived last week as a promo track off Thank U, Next.

Upon its release, Arianators couldn't help but speculate the song was written as a tribute to her late ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, who died of an accidental overdose of fentanyl and cocaine in September after Grande ended her two-year relationship with the rapper just months before.

Fans were quick to draw the connections on social media, implying that some of the opening verses appeared to mimic those heard in Miller's song "Cinderella" as well as the title itself possibly being named after a tattoo the deceased lyricist had inked across his bicep.
