Ariana Grande Ended Her Piers Morgan Feud With Laughs, Tears & Drinks

Ariana Grande knows how to engage in a feud, but the pop titan also knows how to end one on a high note. Just ask Piers Morgan.

After beefing with the famed British TV personality over his shaming of Little Mix's nude scene in their "Strip" music video, Grande ran into Morgan at a restaurant in Los Angeles on Tuesday (February 19) and the pair decided to rehash their November debate. Followers of the pair on Twitter saw the aftermath of their reconciliation unfold when Piers thanked the chart-topper for the evening. "Thank u for some laughs and some v productive conversation! It was nice bumping into u," she replied to his initial message. Asked how the encounter came about, Grande explained that they bumped into each other and spoke for a while. "I think progress was made!" she said. "Turns out face to face discussions are a bit kinder and gentler, even if you do indeed disagree."

"So... we bumped into each other in a LA restaurant, she joined me for ‘a chat’ & 2 hours later we were still chatting," Morgans captioned a photo alongside the star. "We laughed, we argued, she cried, I nearly did, the drinks flowed & we bonded. Turns out we really like each other. Weird. Thank u ⁦@ArianaGrande⁩ - next?"

Simultaneously, on Tuesday, Billboard reported that the pop titan has become the first artist to hold the No. 1, 2 and 3 spots on their Hot 100 chart since The Beatles in 1964 with her three thank u, next singles. While "7 rings" is atop the chart for the fourth week, her follow-up single, "break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored" debuted at the No. 2 spot and the album's title track rebounded from No. 7 to No. 3. Grande's big accomplishment makes her just the second act to do so in the chart's 60-year history. The Beatles previously earned the honor for five weeks in March and April 1964, claiming the entire top five tier on the April 4, 1964-dated chart.
