Meet Pets From Muttville Senior Dog Rescue On Furry Fridays!

These pets are available to adopt, along with a ton of other amazing dogs at Muttville Senior Dog Rescue who deserve a great forever home!

Get to know Smokey:

Are you tired of people commenting on how boring your selfies are? Try posing with Smokey! With his handsome smile and velvety silver coat, Smokey makes the perfect modeling partner. Not only will he help you up your IG game, this very good and peppy boy is also a delightful housemate. He’s great with kids, can bro out with dogs of any size, and even chills with cats.

Get to know Razzmatazz:

Former cabaret star Razzmatazz just retired his top hat and sparkle shoes. He is best known for his award winning dance moves and signature puggish jazz hands! This boy is so entertaining and a fabulous addition to any home.

-Razzmatazz would do well in a home with children

-Razzmatazz loves to snuggle and naps in the sun

Here’s some notes from his foster:

Razzmatazz is comfortable, like an old sweater or a favorite book. He is that rare individual who has seen it all, yet still gets tail-waggingly excited at every new walk, nap in the sun, or trip to the kitchen to stare longingly at any food that may be being cooked or consumed. We have marveled at Razz’s ability to quickly adjust to life in our home; he is the embodiment of the phrase "bloom where you’re planted.

Razz is also surprisingly spry. He hasn’t let age or his recent displacement dim his spirits. He is happy to go on multiple short-medium- length walks during the day and evening. He loves meeting new people on our walks, and is not intimidated by other dogs.

At home, he is sweet, gentle, and a great couch companion.

Get to know Hank & DeeDee:

Hank and DeeDee are strongly bonded, so we want to adopt them out together.

Hank and DeeDee are definitely prom king and queen. They’re just so… good looking. So cutely bonded. So agile. So soft and smooth. And it might be strange to say, but they seem to be the most intelligent people in the room. Even when there are actual people in the room. It’s probably not a bad thing to feel like you want to impress your dogs intellectually. But truly, these are two incredibly sweet and loving dogs. They will make some lucky person double-happy.

Hank is a male Dachshund/Chihuahua, 7 years young, weighing 24 pounds.

DeeDee is a female Chihuahua mix, 8 years young, weighing 15 pounds.

Here’s some notes from their foster:

Hank and DeeDee bond very quickly and will happily follow you anywhere. They enjoy copiloting car rides, going on short or long walks, and just generally doing what you’re doing. This adorable duo is initially shy meeting new humans, but loves meeting other dogs, including much larger dogs. They get along with our two cats, and will do well in a home with or without furry friends.

Their favorite things are mealtime and treats. Both are excellent eaters and gobble up their fresh food. These two prefer to sleep in bed with their humans, and have shown zero interest in our selection of dog beds! The doggies share a very sweet and gentle disposition, and enjoy scritches and belly rubs. They are filled with doggie kisses for their humans and each other.

Hank and DeeDee seem quite healthy and fit, and are not on any medications at this time. At seven and eight years young, these master tail waggers are energetic and curious. They have no trouble running up and down the stairs, leaping in and out of the car, or jumping on and off the bed, couch, or a welcoming lap. They enjoy being outdoors, but are perfectly content to chill inside, too.

Both are 100% potty trained. There have been no indoor accidents and no adjustment period was needed. They also rarely bark with the exception so far being when demanding teenagers barged in and interrupted my work day. Smart doggies!

Hank and DeeDee are extremely well-mannered and an absolute pleasure to have around. This sweet pair is going to make their new forever family extremely happy!

Get to know Corky:

Who let this cloud of cotton candy into Muttville? We only rescue senior dogs, not dreamy wisps of pillow fluff. Corky is a perfect space angel who lost a little floof reentering earth’s atmosphere. He says he doesn’t mind as long as you can help him apply some sunscreen to protect his pink snoot. We would give you the whole world if you asked for it, Corky!

Tune into Marcus & Corey every Friday to meet more animals that could be your family's next pet, sponsored by Stevens Creek Toyota!
