These pets are available to adopt, along with a ton of other amazing dogs at Muttville Senior Dog Rescue who deserve a great forever home!
Get to know Albie:
What’s small, black, and has excellent manners? Albie! He’s a gentleman min-pin with the cutest eyebrows and a permapuppy face. He always lets the ladies finish their meals and push away their plates before he cleans up the crumbs for them. He zips about with the vigor of a much younger pup, but is also happy to relax if that’s what’s on the agenda.
-Albie is house trained
-Albie would do well in a home with or without other dogs
-Albie has great manners on leash
-Albie would do well in a home with older children
Here’s some notes from her foster:
Albie is such a sweet and gentle guy. He is a little shy and kept to himself when he first came to me as a foster. In just a couple of weeks, though, he has been coming out of his shell and showing his loving, goofy and playful personality! He enjoys scritches and pets and actually comes looking for them! He has discovered a favorite toy and he loves going for walks. He does the cutest little bunny hops when he sees his leash and harness come out. He also loves naps and lounging in the sun.
Albie came to Muttville a little underweight and is now eating well and he is on a good, healthy diet now. He loves getting yummy treats and is still often on the lookout for snacks. I do keep an extra careful eye on him when we’re on walks to make sure he doesn’t pick up anything that might give him a tummy ache.
He is pretty reliably house trained and will usually go toward the door when he has to go. He sometimes needs a little coaxing to go outside first thing in the morning or for his last potty at night before bed.
Get to know Camaro:
Camaro is on the quest for his ride or die. He would love nothing more than a home to call his very own! He has been through so much, and is so deserving of a warm and cozy spot where he can bask in the sunshine and be pampered and adored. He loves other dogs so much and is hoping for some mutt siblings! He is still learning all about this big wide world and would love a patient family who can let him go at his own pace. Is your pack ready to add this handsome guy to the crew?! He sure hopes so.
-Camaro prefers a home with other dogs
-Camaro walks great on leash
-Camaro would do well in a home with older children
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Camaro is somewhat reserved but increasingly makes himself available for pets and chooses to curl up next to people on the couch. He’s a sweet fellow who grows more confident by the minute.
Camaro is both spry and in good health; he can jump in and out of a car, and on and off of a bed or a couch. He is quiet nearly all the time-a few barks when someone rings the doorbell- and has been friendly with other dogs and. He enjoys an occasional short to medium walk and also avails himself of the dog door so he can take himself out to potty or sunbathe.
Camaro has the heart of a lion and he’s learning how to love his humans. Within 2 days he now allows me to pick him up he doesn’t like it but he lets me. It’s a start in the rite direction.
Camaro absolutely loves to stay outside during the day basking in the, he has a little canopy bed that he lays in when the sun is to hot. he only uses a pad (potty) at night.
Get to know Tonka:
All you have to do is make eye contact with this handsome doggo and his tail starts a-waggin’. Tonka is a happy big boi with an impressive list of sweet moves. He can shake, sit, and will gladly show you his belly. We could look into those kind Tonka eyes for hours!
Tonka is a giant ball of love and has quite a bit of energy for a senior pup. He is friendly enough to be in a home with children and other dogs, however he would benefit greatly with some basic manners training and lots of exercise, because he is so big and bounce, he can be a lot and LOVES to jump up and give kisses. He is going to make his new family so happy and feel so loved! Tonka is the sweetest of sweet and just needs to learn how to bundle up all his love.
Get to know Tilia & Juniper:
Tilia and Juniper are strongly bonded, so we want to adopt them out together.
Meet the most wonderful Yin and Yang of doggos… Juniper and Tilia! Juniper is quite outgoing and social while Tilia is a bit more shy and reserved. Juniper prefers the color brown while Tilia likes to rock the darkest of black. Some may say she’s emo but really she enjoys taking the backseat to her sisters confidence. Sometimes they like to argue about which Keanu Reeves movie was better, The Matrix or Speed? But in the end they just agree to disagree because at the end of the day they complete each other.
Here’s some notes from their foster:
It’s hard to believe Tilia and Juniper are senior dogs! Both of these girls have a ton of energy, they seem more like puppies than seniors! They love to run and play around the house and in the backyard. They like to play with toys together and jump on each other. They are both very spry and are able to jump on to the bed and other furniture easily. They are also able to get on to the coffee table and dining room table! Their adopter will need to be someone who is able to provide them with the exercise and enrichment they need. They would love to go for several long walks every day as well as have play sessions in the house.
They are both as sweet as can be and although they can be a little shy at first, they warm up very quickly. They both love their human very much. They have become attached to me very quickly and have to follow me everywhere I go and sleep next to me in bed at night. As long as they are near me (and each other), they’re happy! They are both potty trained and Juniper will whine and scratch at the back door when she needs to go out. They love to be doted upon and given lots and lots of pets and they will repay you with lots of kisses.
