Today 8/30 is National Slinky Day and Walt Disney World took the day to a whole new level by unveiling the first attraction vehicle for the new ride Slinky Dog Dash.
The new roller coaster is coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios and will be added to Toy Story Land which is expected to open next summer.
A parks spokesperson said in a statement:
"Toy Story Land will invite guests to step into the whimsical world of Pixar Animation Studios' blockbuster films where playtime stretches longer than a Slinky Dog. Guests will feel like they've shrunk to the size of a toy as they play in Andy's backyard with their favorite Toy Story pals. The ride will send riders dipping, dodging, and dashing around turns and drops that Andy has created to stretch Slinky and his coils to the max."
Slinky Dog Dash will be unlike other roller coasters because the ride team is making sure the coaster will do all the movements you would imagine the Slinky Dog character to do.
This ride sounds so much fun hopefully they can bring this ride to Disneyland too!
