Just when you thought croissant hybrids were a thing of the past, a bakery in San Francisco has gone ahead and invented the taco-croissant mashup of your dreams!
Vive La Tarte debuted the "Tacro" when they opened their second location at the San Francisco Ferry Building and are selling them for $12 a piece.
While that may sound expensive for a single taco, to be fair they do look pretty filling!
It is made with a crunchy croissant shell on the outside, you can currently pick between three different fillings, including pulled pork, chile chicken with avocado, and barbecued jackfruit.
Vive La Tarte's chefs are also considering adding a breakfast version to their lineup.
If you're already looking at when the next flight to San Francisco leaves, be sure to plan your Tacro trip accordingly.
According to Vive La Tarte's Instagram account, these taco croissant hybrids can (and usually do) sell out within two hours.
They go on sale each morning at 11 a.m., so get there on time and you won't regret it.
