You probably figure that by 2019, there'd be flying cars like in Back To The Future!
Well the future is officially here, but with self-lacing Nike basketball shoes called the Adapt BB.
These basketball shoes have a "truly customized fit for every basketball player" doe to the self-lacing feature.
These shoes use a system called FitAdapt which makes the laces able to be adjusted manually or with an app with your smartphone.
Nike created this shoe because they say that during a basketball game, your foot can expand almost half a size, which can affect comfort, movement, and performance on the basketball court.
Nike's VP Creative Director of Innovation, Eric Avar says that these shoes easily give the players the ability to quickly loosen or tighten their shoes during a game.
These shoes can last up to 14 days on a full charge and will take about three hours to get a full charge.
In order to charge it all you have to do is place them on a Qi wireless charging mat that comes with every pair.
You'll also be able to input different settings for the perfect fit, check the battery, change the LED colors, and of course get extra features down the road.
They will cost you $350 and you can get yourself a pair starting in February.
Do you plan on buying these?
