It's been almost 30 years since the release of The Little Mermaid and it's a movie that will always be a classic as new generations watch the film.
A couple of years ago, the Hollywood Bowl made a special live concert for the film that starred Sara Bareilles, Daren Criss, and more!
While that was so cool to see The Little Mermaid come to life, Disney is bringing all of these classic films into Live Action films and The Little Mermaid will get a live action movie soon too.
Well the original voice of Ariel, Jodi Benson, recently stopped by PopSugar and she revealed who she'd like to see play Ariel in the live action film!
She said that she gets that Disney is thinking celebrities and it makes sense.
However, she said a part of her wants to see someone new like a real 16 year old play the part.
Jodi also mentioned that she'd be really curious to see how they're going to do the "Part Of Your World" underwater scene and just do the underwater scenes overall.
