Earlier today, the A's made my 2 year-old's first visit to the coliseum truly special.
Yes, there's a bit of a back story.
In case you hadn't guessed, I'm a BIG fan of the A's. Growing up in San Jose, it was so awesome to have the "Bash Brothers" playing less than an hour away and I've been in love with the team ever since.
As a relatively new dad, I've made it a point to encourage Jackson to follow in my footsteps as an Oakland fan.
Here we are when he was literally less than a week old:
Fast forward to early 2017, I tweeted the A's with a question about their spring training roster.
The team completely shocked me by responding in the most awesome way imaginable.
And before today's game against Toronto, Jackson had a chance to meet manager Bob Melvin and get some tips for perfecting his game as a "Utility Toddler."
I think it's safe to say that Jackson will follow in his daddy's footsteps and be an A's fan for life!
