It's moments like these that remind us what baseball is all about. A moment that could get, say, a lifelong A's fan (such as yours' truly) excited about something that happened across the bay at AT&T Park.

Yesterday, Jae-gyun Hwang made his Major League Baseball debut. He played number of seasons in the Korean KBO League, and is the first South Korean-born player to ever wear a Giants uniform.

During his first game for the Giants, he managed to rack up his first Major League hit... and it just happened to be a solo home run!
