Teens arrested after documenting their crime on Snapchat

Two 18 year-old women likely didn't anticipate spending their summer at the center of a police investigation in Myrtle Beach, Florida.

The pair allegedly broke into a local water park after hour, riding rides and enjoying treats from concession stands without paying. They were busted after police became aware of Snapchat videos posted during the trespass and running their names through a local DMV database.

According to the Miami Herald:

The teenage girls were seen consuming $8 worth of Italian ice cups from a park cooler without paying, police said, who also stated they viewed videos that “clearly depict the offenders inside of the waterpark after hours,” the report states.

According to police, one of the girls stated, “We went down all the slides” and allegedly admitted to “jumping the fence” to get into the property.
