Armed robbery at Bay Area lingerie store leads to police chase

Officers from several agencies joined in the chase on Tuesday afternoon after four suspects fled on the freeway.

Here are some highlights from a Mercury News story:

  • One of the four suspects was armed with a stun gun and pointed it at a clerk
  • The suspects made off with $3,000 worth of merchandise, but officers quickly located their getaway vehicle thanks to descriptions provided by witnesses
  • The driver refused to pull over and sped away southbound on Highway 101

Bold move! I'm surprised they ever thought they'd have a chance at getting away with it.
