Bay Area superstar now part owner of up-and-coming pizza chain

It seems these restaurants are popping up more and more...

Next time you order from Pieology, you'll be putting a bit of money in Kevin Durrant's pocket (like he needs it)!

According to ESPN:

Kevin Durant's company, the Durant Co., has made its next major investment -- this time in pizza. The company, owned by Durant and his manager/business partner, Rich Kleiman, will own both a stake in the assembly-line style, on-the-spot pizza brand Pieology and own some of its franchises. Terms were not disclosed.

Easy Bay Times adds:

There are currently 13 locations of Pieology in the Bay Area, including one just a 15-minute drive from Oracle Arena. The assembly-line-style chain — which has over 140 franchises to date — is dedicated to “the creation of delicious and affordable personally inspired pizzas,” according to its website.
