SCIENCE SAYS: We should all do more squatting regularly


Experts in the field of health agree most of us spend way too much time sitting. Recently, many have come up with strategies – use of a standing desk, for example – to spend more time on our feet throughout the course of the day.

According to some notable physical therapists, however, there’s another position that would be beneficial for us to spend more time in: THE SQUAT.

“Squatting regularly and properly can help improve range of motion and strengthen muscles throughout the lower body including the gluteals,” Dr. Jasmine Marcus said in an interview with Mother Nature Network.
