We all know how tough it can be to raise a child in the nation's most populous state, but new research suggests it's extra-difficult for WORKING DADS.
Specifically - according to 2018's Best and Worst States for Working Dads found on WalletHub - the "economic & social well-being" rank of fathers in California was found to be 49th.
As the report reminds us, the economic realities of raising kids in 2018 is a lot different than it was decades ago:
Back in 1960, 75% of American families relied on a single income, that of the dad, who spent much of his week at work while mom stayed home with the kids. Today, two-thirds of family households depend on two incomes.
