Science to the rescue! Sort of.
There's an app called "Spider in da House." Yes, really.
The app was developed by ecologists in the United Kingdom, who have been using it to crowd source data about spiders - specifically those we encounter in our homes.
The big finding? According to Mother Nature Network, "They were able to pinpoint a very specific time of day when spiders are most on the move: 7:35 p.m."
So... One could surmise it would be a really good idea to keep doors leading from outdoors into your home closed during these times so the eight-legged things don't decide to invite themselves in.
Thank you, science!
