Did you notice this guy at the Grammy's?

He was on stage while one of the biggest awards of the night was accepted, and - I'll be honest - I second-guessed whether or not he was actually supposed to be on stage.

He didn't exactly fit in with the rest of Kasey Musgrave's entourage as she took home the "Album of the Year" award.

Yes, he does appear to be making a fashion statement (of some sort) with football pads.

So... Who is this guy?

His name is Shawn Everett, and Wikipedia describes him as "a Canadian music engineer and producer best known for his work with Alabama Shakes, Weezer, The War on Drugs, and Julian Casablancas."

He actually already won a Grammy award in 2016 for his work on Alabama Shakes' album "Sound & Color." He wasn't afraid of risky fashion choices that night either:

I, for one, will be making it a habit of keeping an eye out for this guy in any red carpet appearance he makes from here on out.
