American parents say kids are speaking with accents because of a cartoon

If you have a little one in your household, then your probably familiar with the cartoon Peppa Pig.

Peppa Pig is a children's TV show that shows Peppa's life in a UK town along with her animal friends.

Well the show that was only popular in the UK is now very popular in the U.S. and since Peppa talks with a British accent, many American children are picking up Peppa's British accent!

Children in the U.S aren't only picking up the accent, but are also picking up Peppa's vocabulary while watching the show.

Parents are tweeting about different scenarios of their children picking up the British accent and vocabulary by calling it the "Peppa Effect."
