Legendary ramen house set to open first U.S. location in the Bay Area!

Who's ready for some noodley goodness???

In the world of ramen, Taishoken is basically an institution.

Here's a bit of background from Eater SF:

Ramen aficionados are likely already familiar with tsukemen, the ramen dish in which noodles are served alongside rich broth for dipping. That dish originated at the legendary ramen restaurant Taishoken in 1961; there are now over one hundred locations in Japan.

Taishoken is now preparing to open it's very first U.S. location in San Mateo later this month.

47 East 4th Avenue will be the address, a spot that was home to another Japanese restaurant - Kisaku.

Are you excited?!
