Police make arrest in brazen San Jose attack

The shocking video resonated with officers, who were happy to get the suspect off the street.

That's one takeaway from a Mercury News report about the arrest of 26 year-old Pablo Cabrera Jr. who is suspected of committing the violent robbery earlier this month near Silver Creek Road and Capital Expressway in San Jose.

The Mercury News report detailed how San Jose police investigated:

SJPD robbery detectives canvassed the area and recovered security footage of the attack, as well as other surveillance video that showed a black four-door Lexus sedan leaving the area. Police said the detectives soon found links between the descriptions of the suspect and the car and other reported purse snatching incidents in the city, and identified Cabrera as their suspect.
