Here are the college degrees with highest and lowest unemployment rates

Know someone who's starting college soon?

This might be some helpful info!

Not to discourage anyone from following their dreams, BUT... there appears to be quite a difference in the employability of various majors.

HeyTutor.com crunched the numbers, and here's what they found:

DEGREES WITH THE HIGHEST UNEMPLOYMENT RATES

  1. Mass Media (7.8%)
  2. Liberal Arts (6.7%)
  3. Anthropology (6.6%)
  4. Philosophy (6.2%)
  5. Construction Services (6.1%)

MAJORS WITH THE LOWEST UNEMPLOYMENT RATES

  1. Theology and Religion (1.0%)
  2. Medical Technicians (1.0%)
  3. Early Childhood Education (1.7%)
  4. General Education (1.7%)
  5. Public Policy and Law (1.7%)

Not suggesting you chart your path in life based on these numbers, but if you're on the fence about whether you should major in Mass Media... maybe it's worth re-thinking your options?
