Yet another set of stores announces they will never reopen.
This time, Japanese minimalistic design retailer Muji announced the closure of all California stores - including 3 in the Bay Area - on its website:
As you may know, MUJI recently began taking steps to restructure our U.S. business operations. A part of this evolution included the difficult decision to close our California retail locations indefinitely including:
- Third Street Promenade
- Hollywood
- Santa Anita
- San Jose
- Santa Monic
- SOMA
Thank you for 8 wonderful years in California...
