Spongebob Fans Ask NFL For 'Sweet Victory' Tribute During Super Bowl

In honor of Spongebob Squarepants creator Stephen Hillenburg passing, fans have a special request.

They have launched a petition to try and convince the NFL to organize a performance of one of the most recognizable songs during the 2019 Super Bowl Halftime show this year.

We all remember Spongebob's performance of "Sweet Victory" during the Bubble Bowl.

The petition currently has over 200,000 signatures.

As of right now Maroon 5 is expected to perform during half time.... but maybe Adam Levine will be paying tribute to the Sponge!

What do you think about this idea?!
