Amidst the ongoing 'post pandemic inflation vibes'...this might be THE BEST NEWS EVER. 🙂 Costco fans and just fans of 'great deals' in general, will be ELATED to learn that Costco plans to NOT increase the price of one their most popular food offerings and maybe, hopefully not EVER. Costco's CFO made a statement in a recent presentation that they intend to 'hold the price on the hot dog and the soda a little longer — forever," he said. According to CNBC, the Chief Financial Officer said "that it will always be other parts of the business that are keeping the hot dog’s price in the same place it’s been since 1985. So, while some other Costco food court items saw price increases, (including the popular chicken bake that went up a dollar recently), Costco promises it will keep its hot dog and soda combo at $1.50! Woo hoo!
