A new ban on straws has the entire state of California in a frenzy to STOP using regular, plastic straws. Starbucks jumped on board immediately with their new lids. But, regular folks like you and me and The Sentinel Sandwich shop in the financial district in Downtown San Francisco, are not fans of paper straws.
The only difference is you and I don't have a menu to passively agressively announce our displeasure. And that is exactly what The Sentinel is doing:
"Napkins, straws, and bags are available upon request. You can still get needles for free though. Welcome to SF."
Well that escalated quickly.
