A raccoon scaling the side of a skyscraper Tuesday has people watching its every move!
This all started at about 11am Tuesday when Minnesota PublicRadio reporter Tim Nelson noticed the raccoon trapped on an overhang near the bottom of the UBS Building in downtown St. Paul. Some of the maintenance workers tried to save this little guy but unfortunately, like all wild animals, he was frightened by 'man' and when raccoons get scared they 'go up'... And that's exactly what this guy did. There is not a whole lot that St. Paul Animal Control can do because a rescue mission would be too dangerous for both the raccoon and the workers. He has to do it on his own.
There is a live trap on the roof of the building with some very aromatic cat food they hope will lure the raccoon to safety.
Until then the whole world is holding their breath in hopes he makes it to safety!
