Earlier today Adele gave her fans a sneak peek at her new single off her fourth studio album during her very first Instagram.
She played a piece of "Easy on Me" near the end of her live video chat, and then said she "might get in trouble for it."
The song starts with a short piano solo before Adele jumps in: "There ain't no gold in this river that I've been washing my hands in forever. I know there is hope in these waters but I can't bring myself to swim when I am drowning in this silence. Baby, let me in."
Earlier this month, she announced on social media that "Easy on Me" would come out on Oct. 15.
She was asked what the album would be based on during her Instagram Live, and she said, plainly, "Divorce, babe, divorce."
