This girl can sing!
An unknown 17-year-old high school student, Rachel Zegler, has been cast as Maria in Steven Spielberg's remake of the iconic musical, West Side Story. She is Colombian-American.
Ansel Elgort (Baby Driver, Divergent, The Fault In Our Stars) will star alongside Zegler as Tony.
Zegler participated in an online casting call and sent in videos of herself singing "Tonight" and "Me Siento Hermosa/I Feel Pretty" from the movie-musical.
