Alligators Burned At Joe Exotics Zoo Belonged To Michael Jackson

Almost everyone has seen the crazy Netflix Series, Tiger King. If you haven't seen the show and don't plan on watching, let us give you a brief summary. The show mostly covers the owners crazy lives and their "pet" tigers. Joe Exotic, one of the main characters, has an exotic animal zoo in Oklahoma. The zoo is known to hold over 1,000 creatures including snakes, wolves, dogs, monekys, and over 90 big cats.

During the show, one of the many crazy things that happened was when Joe Exotics alligator shed burned down. One thing the series left out, was that those alligators belong to non other than the king of pop, Michael Jackson! The Los Angeles Times newspaper covered the story back in 2015 saying,

The late pop star’s seven alligators and a crocodile died in the March 26 blaze that also destroyed a video production studio at Garold Wayne Interactive Zoological Park in Wynnewood, Okla., said owner Joe Schreibvogel.

Would the series have taken another turn had we known those were Michael Jacksons alligators? Check out the video from Joe Exotics YouTube channel before the alligators tragically died.
