Former Vallejo Police Captain reveals officers bend the points on their star badges each time they kill someone. Former Vallejo Captain John Whitney, was fired last year after coming forward with misconduct allegations. He says he first heard of 'badge bending' after the shooting of Willie McCoy at Taco Bell.
Whitney asked supervisors to collect badges and a total of 10 bent badges were collected. Chief Andrew Bidou had the badges returned because he was worried it would raise suspicions.
