AMC Theaters has announced they will be reopening around 100 theaters in the U.S. come August 20th. To celebrate the relaunch, all tickets sold for movie screenings on August 20th will be available for the price of just 15 cents! This was the initial cost of attending the theater’s first Kansas City location back in 1920, thus, the chain is touting the reopening as “Movies in 2020 at 1920 Prices.”
