Possible Lockdown To Happen If COVID-19 Cases Keep Rising In California

Health officials are preparing for a big wave of cases as people come back home after the holiday weekend. Governor Gavin Newsom said that ICU beds are estimated to be at 112% in the state, over capacity, by December 24.

As of Sunday, California had about 1.2 million confirmed cases. There have been 19,121 virus-related deaths in California.
