'Police are looking for a man who tried to kidnap a 10-year-old boy outside a home in Oakland on Tuesday, officials said.
The boy, who was not named, was standing outside his home on the 300 block of 45th Street, when a stranger walked up and grabbed him shortly before 9 p.m., Oakland Police Department officials said.
The boy broke away from his attacker and ran into his home, police said.The would-be abductor was described as an adult male with a large build, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. Police did not release any other description of the suspect.'
