Hi Marcus and Sandy: My daughters and I love good news in the morning; we tune in every day! I wanted to share a story with you:
Steve, a San Jose native, has transformed the back of his pick up into a roving parrot parade. He has created a cage for his three parrots: Elvis, Zoe, Scooter. He parks his truck and his parrots outside various eateries and his only purpose is "to bring a smile and laugh" to everyone he encounters. I happen to park next to him at Peet's Coffee on Almaden and Blossom Hill and started chatting with him. As he was explaining his parrot happiness mission to me, a man walked out and joined the conversation. And sure enough by the time he left, he thanked Steve for the laugh and smile and said "I really needed that today." So thanks to Steve (and Elvis, Zoe and Scooter) for bringing laughs and smiles to our community!
