While he was in LA for a premiere of Despicable Me 3, the photos emerged on social media and next thing you know Steve Carell became the new silver fox sensation. LOL
Carly Steele from ET asked him about his new do and he replied in a joking manner,
"I am so sick of people just looking at me for my physical attributes. It's just genetic. There's nothing I can do."
Then more seriously he explained, "I'm bursting with pride. That's very nice."
