According to ABC7 News, "Scientists from Japan said the chemical is added to the fries in order to keep the cooking oil from frothing up.When they tested that chemical on mice, scientists said they regrew hair."
The next move would be to try in on human cells. This could be a cool breakthrough for many people who suffer from losing their hair and it's a tasty way too!
