Meet Pets From Hopalong Animal Rescue On Furry Fridays!

Tammy, Timmy, Mulan, and Jack are available to adopt, along with a ton of other amazing pets at Hopalong Animal Rescue who deserve a great forever home!

Meet Tammy:

Tammy is a very sweet girl! She and her brother Timmy were originally adopted from our organization as kittens but were sadly returned recently because their owner lost their home. They’re used to a quieter, indoor-only household. They can be shy at first/startle with loud noises, but they’re both very sweet and affectionate and become confident once settled in. They’re mellow, independent, social, friendly, lap cats with great litter box skills and no history of behavioral/health issues.

*They enjoy each others company and would ideally be adopted together since they’ve been together since birth, but they could be separated if it were the right home(s).

Meet Timmy:

Timmy is a very lovable dude with a dopey-looking face. He and his sister Tammy were originally adopted from our organization as kittens, but were sadly returned recently because their owner lost their home. Meet Mulan:

Hi! My name is Mulan. I am a 2 pound 16-week old puppy with spunk, sass, and a feisty personality. There is never a dull moment with me. I have a slight neurological problem. My back legs tend to move a lot faster than my front so if I get too excited my back legs go crazy and push me forward. Also, my head shakes anytime I get really excited but it doesn’t stop me from eating, drinking or taking over the world. So I’m still working and improving on this thing called walking. I’m not paralyzed so I’m expected to make a full recovery but there might be a chance that my back legs still go crazy and my head shakes may not go away but my moms say it gives me personality. I pretty much do everything a puppy does; I play, try to run around, I chew on things I’m not supposed to, I’ve met lots of dogs and I’m not scared of any of them, I bark and growl when playing. It’s pretty hard not to love me once you see me and spend some time with me. I’m just looking for a special home that’s going to give me lots of the attention and love that I need.

Oh, also I would like a fur sibling because I currently love being around and following my foster siblings around. I love cuddling in a dog bed, in your arms or right on top of you. I currently am not a fan of the crate but have no fear, my moms found out that I like being in a playpen at night so I sleep in there all night. If you would like to meet me and take me home ask to do so, I promise you won’t regret it.

Meet Jack:

Jack is a 4 year old Maltese/terrier mix. He came to us from the streets in bad shape and very matted. Thankfully, he was given a much needed haircut and is feeling so much better! Jack is very sweet and likes to play with his small dog friend in his foster home. Despite his size, he is very agile and loves to run and play. A guard dog at heart, he will let you know if someone is at the door. Jack needs someone who will help get him get to a healthier weight and give him lots of love.

  • 25 lbs, but is working down to be under 20 lbs
  • small dog friendly, unknown with larger dogs
  • unsure about cats
  • older children recommended

Tune into Marcus & Sandy every Friday to meet another cat or dog that could be your family's next pet.
