Get to know Leroy:

Do not believe anything that Jim Croce sang about Leroy! Leroy is the nicest boy in the whole town, has never even met King Kong, and staunchly objects to assuming that any junkyard dog is "mean. When asked in 1970 why he sang about Leroy being bad, Jim Croce said "the song is funny because it’s just not true at all. Leroy is a really good boy who loves pets and always asks politely for treats. So as you can see from this real and not-made-up quote from Jim Croce, Leroy is the perfect, sweetest pup to join your family.

This dog is hospice due to the following medical conditions: splenic cancer (stromal sarcoma)

Get to know Woody:

Woody is great old guy!

Woody is living with other mutts and doing well after coming into Muttville as a stray.

Woody is part of our hospice program due to his severe mobility issues, discomfort, possible disease in spleen/liver.

Here’s a note from his foster:

Shhh…don’t let Woody hear that he is a senior mutt! Although, he may not be as spry as he once was in his younger years, this boy still is a puppy at heart. He loves to play fetch with his tennis ball and likes nothing better than to sit by your side and chomp on his chew toys. He wants to be where ever the action is so be prepared to for a snuggler to be by your side, whether, just lazing about on the couch or enjoying the beautiful outdoors.

Woody gets along great with everyone (people and dogs) and enjoys hanging out with the three resident dogs at home.

He also seems to be housebroken and has excellent manners. He would make a great companion for anyone!

Get to know Freddy:

Freddy my love, Freddy my love, Freddy my lo-oooove! If you grew up on Grease, you’ll be singing this song all day long because Freddy is SOOOO deserving of love! He is a true, gold-star super-senior, with lots of years under his belt but so much more snuggling and exploring and heart-melting to do! Plus, he looks so handsome in a sweater.

This dog is hospice due to the following medical conditions: old age & kidney disease.

Get to know Desmond:

Desmond is a TV news pundit best known as the former co-host and liberal voice of the Fox News panel talk show “The Bark.”

He is funny and self-deprecating, always the first to acknowledge his wild gray hair and his habit of sniffing the ladies. A face for radio, Desmond is a friendly fellow, good with all breeds of dogs and all personalities of humans. He will regale you with sharp political insights and big bear hugs.

Tune into Marcus & Sandy every Friday to meet another cat or dog that could be your family's next pet.
