Get to know Perla:
Perla might be the snuggliest dog you'll ever meet! Her picture of a perfect day includes morning playtime, followed by laying next to you on the couch while you read a book or watch TV. She looooves toys she can chew on, so make sure you have lots of chewies available.
Perla is currently in foster with one of our volunteers who walks and trains shelter dogs. Her foster has done A LOT of training with Perla. She potty trianed and crate trained Perla. Perla used to guard her food bowl, and now she doesn't, thanks to her fabulous foster. Perla is also excellent at walking on leash and is able to meet dogs while out on trails.
Perla is looking to find a home that will keep up with the training. And lots of snuggle time!
Get to know Cinnamon:
Meet Cinnamon, a lovely torbie girl in search of her forever home! Cinnamon is a new arrival, but she is confident and likes to explore. Cinnamon was a mama cat, so she probably spent some time in the great outdoors. As she acclimates to the shelter, we think we'll see more of her sweet personality come out (and maybe a bit of tortitude!). This lovely lady is ready for her next adventure to begin!
Get to know Sage:
Sage is a BIG, beautiful, squishy marshmallow of a bunny looking for a loving home. Our rabbit volunteers can't say enough good things about this bun.
True to the nature of New Zealand rabbits he settles down for petting, he's easy to comb and he's calm. He does not liked to be picked up but that's true of most rabbits. He enjoys paper type of toys to chew and toss. Yes, he's a bit bigger than most rabbits but that just means there's more of him to love. He can be housed in either a bunny-proofed room, be a free roaming rabbit or have a double x-pen set-up. Lots of fresh grass hay, a timothy-based pellet (plain pellets, no rainbow mixes!) and dark leafy greens will keep him happy and healthy. If you are looking for a gentle, quiet companion, Sage is your guy! ***ADOPTION FEE PAID***
Get to know Kirra:
Kirra is a gorgeous lady with big green eyes and a perfect black nose. She is confident, outgoing, and social, but likes things on her terms. This big, beautiful cat loves to rub on your legs, get a few pets, and hang out nearby. She enjoys petting on her terms, absolutely loves playtime, and will chase the wand toy around the room and into the ripple rug before flopping over on her side. She may be a big girl, but she can really move and she loves to move!
Kirra previously lived with another cat and needs lots of active stimulation to keep her busy and prevent boredom. She may like some outdoor privileges as well. Kirra wants to run the show and is the queen of her own space. She needs a cat savvy guardian who can read her signals and respect her needs as her own feline.
