The Backstreet Boys kicked off their residency at the Las Vegas Sphere on Saturday (July 12), and AJ McLean's entire family showed up, including his estranged wife, Rochelle McLean.
The "I Want It That Way" standouts shared video footage from the concert on Instagram, highlighting the work they put into the show and the magic they got from fans in return.
"The work we have put into this show feels like it is being poured back into us tenfold. The magic you guys bring each night is electric! Can’t wait to see you next weekend." McLean's wife brought their two daughters, Elliott and Lyric, who were front and center to see their dad take over the iconic Vegas venue.
"Opening night at @spherevegas was really something special. All I can say is that it really is something you have to see for yourself. Bravo boys! You, your team and your crew pulled off the most spectacular show I’ve ever seen," she wrote on Instagram, tagging McLean and the BSB in a carousel of photos.
AJ and Rochelle ended their 12-year relationship in January 2024 and have been coparenting their children for over a year.
"I love you all so much. It wouldn’t have been the same if my girls weren’t there to kick off this amazing residency," the "Everybody" singer commented on his former partner's post.
In June, McLean told US Weekly that he and Rochelle were "moving in a really positive direction" following their split, and were "coparenting to the best of our ability." The BSB member has also been very open about his sobriety journey in recent months, and assured People that he's in "the best head space I've ever been in my life."
